The food shelf offers canned and dry goods, frozen pre-made meals, bread, butter, milk, cheese, meat, and fresh produce for our neighbors who need food assistance
On Fridays, during the school year, we deliver a requested number of food and snack packs to the Hartland Elementary School to provide sustenance for students over the weekend
We have a "sponsor a week" program! With a donation of $50 or more, your name can be listed below. This helps us cover the costs to run the food shelf and the school weekend food deliveries.
We recently stopped using paper plates for our breakfast service to minimize trash.
Any perishable food left over after our Friday hours is given to another food shelf that is open on Saturday
Our bad scraps are fed to chickens that produce some of our eggs
The scraps that can't be fed to chickens are composted
